Lauren Roseblade

Practice overview:

Lauren joined Chambers as a tenant in October 2025 following the successful completion of her pupillage under the supervision of Sheila Radcliffe.

 

Lauren accepts instructions across all areas of family law. Throughout pupillage and in her early practice, Lauren has gained experience across the full spectrum of both private and public law proceedings, as well as matters involving domestic abuse, financial remedies and injunctions. Lauren is committed to providing clear, practical advice to clients. Her advocacy is supported by careful preparation and a calm, professional approach.

 

Lauren completed her Law Degree at Swansea University and graduated in 2021. Lauren then commenced the Bar Training Course and a separate Masters of Law degree at Cardiff University where she received the highest mark in her Civil Advocacy cohort. Lauren was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2022 before travelling Australia and Southeast Asia for 5 months.

 

Alongside her legal studies, Lauren volunteered for Amicus ALJ assisting with casework relating to wrongfully convicted prisoners on death row in the United States; and as a pro bono climate and environment volunteer during the Bar Course. Outside of her legal volunteering, Lauren volunteered as a SHOUT 85258 Mental Health Crisis Volunteer.

 

Prior to commencing pupillage, Lauren worked as a paralegal in a litigation department at a well-respected firm, where she gained valuable experience in case preparation, evidence analysis and client care.

 

Outside of work:

Lauren enjoys travelling and maintaining an active lifestyle. She is a keen runner and recently completed the Cardiff Half Marathon on behalf of Cathedral Chambers, raising funds for Big Moose Charity on behalf of the Wales and Chester Circuit. She also enjoys CrossFit and strength training.
