Rebecca Budge

Practice overview:

After completing her LLB, Rebecca went on to study not one but two Master of Laws, one specialising in Alternative Dispute Resolution, before the Bar Course at Cardiff University. She was called to the Bar in 2022 and completed her pupillage at Cathedral Chambers under Hayley Daniel.

Having worked across all areas of family law Rebecca is available for all Public and Private work: private client, matrimonial finance, child arrangement, local authority and care, and divorce proceedings including fact finding and final hearings.

Rebecca is a skilled and accredited mediator having worked in Non-Court Dispute Resolution for a number of years before qualifying as a barrister. She enjoys assisting parties to reach mutually beneficial outcomes and avoid the need for lengthy, stressful and expensive litigation. Her experience is cross sector in family matters, workplace and civil mediations.

In addition to this Rebecca is a Founding Member and Secretary of the Dispute Resolution Centre for Wales.

Her clients have praised her professional, calming and pragmatic approach.

Outside of work:

Outside of work Rebecca enjoys holidays, going to the gym, walking the dog, and spending time with her family.
